Home Run Prop Prediction 1: Corey Seager (+430)

Rangers shortstop Corey Seager sports a .373 batting average and .663 slugging percentage in day games ahead of their game against the Red Sox sending Brayan Bello to the mound.

He brings a 5.80 ERA in day games into this one while allowing a home run every 5.1 innings pitched compared to allowing one every 8.2 innings during night games.

Seager is 3-6 with a double all-time against Bello in which the Red Sox starter allows lefties to bat .297 with 11 of 20 home runs given up on the season as well.

Seager has hit 24 of his 31 home runs against righties this season with six home runs hit in September so far. For what it’s worth Seager leads the league in slugging percentage at home at .701.

Splits are in Seager’s favor to hit a home run tonight so take him at +430 to hit one with other Rangers batters who could potentially hit a home run include Adolis Garcis (+400) and Mitch Garver (+440).

Home Run Prop Prediction 2: Randy Arozarena (+460)

Randy Arozarena hit a home run off lefty Patrick Sandoval in last night’s game agains the Angels and we’re thinking the same happens tonight as Los Angeles sends Reid Detmers to the mound.

The Angels lefty sports a 5.40 road ERA and has given up nine home runs in 60 innings compared to giving up 10 in 77.2 innings at home on the season.

Arozarena has a home run against lefties once every 14 at-bats compared to facing righties hitting one every 28 at-bats. Over the last 30 days Detmers has only allowed two home runs in 22.2 innings pitched but has allowed opponents to bat .294.

Perhaps Arozarena is rounding into playoff form as the Rays still have a shot to win the AL East and avoid the wildcard all together.

Keep an eye out on where the Rays outfielder is in the batting order sporting a .559 slugging percentage when batting in the #2 spot which is where he hit in yesterday’s win.

Take Arozarena to hit a home run at +460 with other Rays to consider for a home run are Yandy Diaz (+520) and Isaac Paredes (+420).
