MLB Player Props Today for Tuesday: Aaron Judge, Yankees OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-145)

Aaron Judge has covered this HRR line in 64% of his games on the season including 7 of his last 11 games where he’s averaged 2.2 HRR per game.

Judge has been a Tigers-killer as he’s riding a 9-game hitting streak in head-to-head games against Detroit while logging 2+ HRR 7 of those games.

Now Judge gets another opportunity to feast on Casey Mize who he’s gone 5-7 (.714) against with two doubles and two RBI.

Mize is coming off a solid outing where he held the New York Mets to one earned run across 5 innings of work but he struggled in back-to-back months with a 5.81 ERA in August and a 6.32 ERA in July.

Mize also hasn’t been as good on the road where he’s posted a 4.26 ERA and .284 OBA across 63.1 innings pitched.

Judge has logged a .318 batting average & .313 ISO against right-handed pitching and 31 of his 43 home runs have come against righties.

Judge and the Yankees are fighting for a playoff spot while the Tigers basically locked into the top spot in the American League Central. Judge should remain locked in at the plate against pitcher he’s thrived against in the past.

MLB Player Props Today for Tuesday: Julio Rodriguez, Mariners OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-145)

Julio Rodriguez is cooking at the dish recently as he’s covered this HRR line in 12 of his last 14 games while posting a .357 batting average and .304 ISO.

During his last 10 games, Rodriguez has logged 14 hits (7 XBH) while averaging 4 HRR and 3.1 total bases per game.

Opponents have posted a 9.6%-barrel rate against Matthew Liberatore on the season as he relies heavily on his fastball & breaking pitch (combined 88.4%) and Rodriguez has a 10.2%-barrel rate against fastballs and a 7.8%-barrel rate against breaking balls.

Liberatore is coming off 5.1 scoreless innings against the Athletics, but he’s struggled as the season has progressed with a 5.40 ERA in August and a 6.57 ERA in July.

Liberatore also hasn’t pitched more than 5.1 innings since June, and he’s backed by a watered-down bullpen that was dismantled at the trade deadline as the Cardinals traded Ryan Helsley, Phil Maton and Steven Matz.

J-Rod has posted better power numbers against left-handed pitchers, and he’s cleared this HRR line in 65% of his games against southpaws on the season.

The Mariners are fighting for a playoff spot so we should see some quality at-bats out of Rodriguez and company.
