MLB Player Props Today for Friday: Pete Alonso, Mets OVER 2.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-130)

The New York Mets playing in Coors Field immediately drew my attention and we should see plenty of fireworks as their team total is set at 6.5 juiced to the over.

Antonio Senzatela has basically been the worst starting pitcher in the major leagues this season with a 7.14 ERA and 1.98 WHIP resulting in a 1-10 record.

Current Mets are batting .364 against Senzatela with 8 home runs across 88 at-bats. That includes Pete Alonso going 5-14 (.357) against him with a double.

Alonso has recorded 4+ HRR in three straight games while going 7-13 (.538) with two home runs and 9 RBI.

It almost goes without saying to mention that the Rockies have an unreliable bullpen as they rank 20th in ERA, 25th in WHIP and 23rd in xFIP.

The “Polar Bear” is on fire, and we have already seen the damage Alonso can do in the altitude of Coors Field where he won his 2nd Home Run Derby crown. One swing cashes this ticket with ease.

MLB Player Props Today for Friday: Taylor Ward, Angels OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (+100)

Taylor Ward has been a 50/50 bet on this line during the 2025 campaign but he is coming off a game where he hit a grand slam against the Red Sox at Fenway Park.

Ward has also smashed tonight’s starting pitcher Bryce Miller, going 4-10 (.400) with a home run and two doubles.

It was a brutal May for Miller as he allowed 14 earned runs across only 13 innings of work (3 starts) and that has resulted in a season ERA of 5.36.

Miller has also really struggled on the road this season where he’s posted a 5.68 ERA and .301 OBA across 19 innings pitched.

The Mariners is very hittable as they rank 15th in ERA, 26th in OBA & WHIP and 24th in xFIP. Ward does have limited at-bats against lefties but 15 of 17 home runs have come against right-handed pitchers this season.

Ward is coming off a game with a grand slam and he’s hit a home run in back-to-back games five times this season. Let’s look for him to get a hold of one against pitcher he’s thrived against in the past.
