The Red Sox are fresh off a four-game sweep of the Yankees at home and turnaround on Monday to host the Nationals for a three-game set starting tonight.

In the last three games of the seres Contreras combined to go 4-10 from the plate with a double, home run and four RBIs as we’ll look for him to cash his home run props on Monday.

Washington sends veteran Miles Mikolas to the mound who Contreras has experience against from their time playing against each other in the NL Central. The Red Sox first baseman is 7-19 with two doubles and a home run all-time off Mikolas with the Washington starter allowing 16 home runs on the season so far.

Last year against Washington Contreras filled up the stat sheet going 8-21 with two doubles and two home runs and at home this season he’s batting .308 and slugging .566. During road games he’s batting .254 and slugging .479 with Mikolas allowing eight home runs each to right handed and left handed batters this season although he has faced lefties in 42 more at bats than righties.

Contreras has hit 12 home of his 17 home runs against right handed pitching and it’s worth noting he’s just seven home runs away from tying his singe season high of 24 set back in 2019 as a member of the Cubs.

Take Contreras at +370 to hit a home run tonight with other Red Sox to consider for a home run includes Wilyer Abreu (+450) and if you want a long shot consider Caleb Durbin (+900) who is 4-7 with two doubles and a home run against Mikolas all-time.

Home Run Props Best Bet of the Day #2: Isaac Paredes (HOU) +450

Astros third baseman Isaac Paredes was the key offensive player in yesterday’s 7-5 extra innings win at Detroit going 3-5 with a home run as the team heads back home to face the Twins tonight.

Minnesota sends righty Zebby Matthews to the mound who allowed two home runs in his last start against the Dodgers and has allowed seven of his ten home runs on the road this season.

He posts a 7.33 road ERA compared to a 2.08 home ERA with Paredes belting six of his 11 home runs at home and all 11 home runs against right handed pitching.

Paredes is having his best month of the season so far batting .299 in June to go along with a .540 slugging percentage including five of his 11 home runs this month as well.

In their series at Minnesota near the end of May Paredes hit a home run off Matthews and although Paredes hasn’t hit more than 20 home runs in a season the past couple years let’s not forget he did have 31 home runs for the Rays back in 2023.

Three of Paredes’ home runs came in three straight games at the start of the month so let’s look for him to close out the month strong after hitting a home run yesterday, taking him to hit his home run props tonight at +450 odds. Other Astros batters to look at for home run props on Monday includes Yordan Alvarez (+200) and Christian Walker (+340).
