Nolan Arenado has a hit in 11 of his last 12 games as we think he has a solid shot to hit a home run tonight against the Cubs.

Jameson Tailon gets the start tonight for Chicago who has allowed 18 total home runs this season which is tied for third most among all pitchers this season.

Although Arenado doesn’t have a home run in 25 at-bats against Tailon all time, he is batting .440 against him.

Seven of Arenado’s ten home runs this season have come at home where he sports a .476 slugging percentage compared to road games slugging just .328.

Ten of the 18 home runs allowed by Tailon have come on the road and come against righties with right handers slugging .533 against him this season.

Four of Arenado’s ten home runs have come in June and although the veteran doesn’t have the pop he used to back when he played for Colorado, he does have the capability to hit 20+ home runs this season.

We get great value on Arenado to hit a home run tonight at +630 odds. Other Cardinals to look at for a home run include Alec Burleson (+470) and Wilson Contreras (+440).

MLB HR Props Best Bet of the Day #2: Max Muncy (LAD) +320

The Dodgers and Rockies start up a three-game set in Colorado tonight with German Marquez taking the mound at Coors Field.

He has allowed seven home runs in total this season with five coming against lefties as we’ll target Dodgers’ third baseman Max Muncy to hit a home run tonight.

Muncy is coming off a huge game on Sunday blasting two home runs at home against Washington generating seven RBIs in total.

He’s batting .310 this month to go along with a .621 slugging percentage. Although he has just seven hits in 32 at-bats against Marquez all-time, four of those seven hits have gone for a home run.

Marquez has allowed five of his seven home runs during night starts while sporting a 7.35 ERA in that scenario as well.

Muncy has yet to hit a home run against a divisional foe so let’s take him to do it tonight at +320 odds. Other Dodgers batters to consider for a home run include Shohei Ohtani (+165) and Teoscar Hernandez (+360).
