In August Bell is batting .375 while slugging .625 including three home runs as the Twins and Phillies play in the Field of Dreams game which kicks off their three-game series.

Aaron Nola takes the mound for Philadelphia leading the league in home runs given up this season among all pitchers with 29. He’s given up nine home runs across his last five starts and on the season has allowed 18 of his 29 home runs to left handed batters like Bell.

These two have crossed paths quite a few times with Bell’s stints in the NL with Pittsburgh, Washington and Miami with the Twins DH going just 8-41 all-time against Nola but three of those eight hits were home runs.

Eleven of Bell’s 16 home runs have come off right handed pitching so let’s go with him to hit his home run prop at +470 tonight with other Twins batters capable of hitting their home run prop includes Buxton (+285) and Kody Clemens (+360).

He has allowed 11 of 21 home runs to right handed batters while allowing a .520 slugging percentage compared to a .434 slugging percentage allowed to lefties.

Chourio has had a hot bat as of late batting .286 and slugging .595 in August including three home runs over the last seven days. Sure, only five of Chourio’s 17 home runs have come on the road this season, but 12 have come during night games and 12 have come against right handed pitching.

He’s just four home runs away from tying his 2024 and 2025 season home run total so let’s go with Chourio to hit his home run prop tonight at +360 odds. Other Brewers hitters to consider for a home run prop includes Jake Bauers (+400) and William Contreras (+480).
