Rafael Devers has averaged 32 home runs per season across his last five as we’ll look for him to hit his home run prop tonight as the Giants face the Rockies at Coors Field.

They’ll get Michael Lorenzen taking the mound pitching for his seventh team in total, but we’re guessing he wishes he would have thought twice before signing with the Rockies.

He’s 2-7 with a 7.21 ERA, but he’s even worse at home sporting a 10.03 ERA while allowing five of his ten total home runs. He’s been particularly vulnerable against lefties allowing a .412 average and .754 slugging percentage to them compared to righties allowing a .298 average and .387 slugging percentage.

The Giants first baseman has hit six of his seven total home runs off righties and for the month of May he’s batting .287 to go along with a .564 slugging percentage.

This will be the first head-to-head matchup between these NL West foes this season, but last season against the Rockies Devers hit .292 while also slugging .750 against them as well.

For what it’s worth the Rockies bullpen has also given up the fifth most home runs of any bullpen unit in the MLB so let’s take Devers at +330 odds to hit his eighth home run of the season at Colorado tonight.

MLB Home Run Prop Best Bet of the Day #2: Jazz Chisholm (NYY) +520

Jazz Chisholm hasn’t played the last two games for the Yankees so he should be well rested for tonight’s tilt in Sacramento as New York travels cross-country to play the Athletics.

When Chisholm did last take the field he hit his home run prop in Tuesday’s 15-1 win at Kansas City with the second baseman hitting .405 and slugging .667 in the last 15 days.

Of course Sutter Health Park has been known as a hitters paradise with Athletics starter Luis Severino allowing six of his eight total home runs at home.

He has also allowed a .283 batting average and .449 slugging percentage to left handed hitters compared to a .216 average and .382 slugging percentage allowed to righties.

All-time Chisholm is 5-11 with a double and two home runs off Severino with four of Chisholm’s six home runs coming on the road while slugging .450 compared to slugging just .333 during home games.

Although Chisholm has only six home runs this season he did have 31 last season so we know the potential for power is there for him.

Chisholm has already hit a home run in back-to-back games this season once so let’s take him to do it again and hit his home run prop tonight at +520 odds in what should be a high scoring affair in Sacramento.
