College Basketball Props Prediction 1: TJ Bamba Villanova, UNDER 12.5 Points (-125) DK

Villanova Wildcats guard TJ Bamba has fallen short of 13+ points in 15 of 25 games on the season for a 60% success rate to the under while averaging only 10.6 points per game.

Bamba has cleared this total in each of his last two games and 4 of his last 6 games. However, he literally just snuck past the mark in three of those games with 14 points.

Bamba also scored 14 points against the Butler Bulldogs on January 27th but that was due to scoring 7 of those points in double overtime.

This is a critical matchup in the Big East as both team’s cling to NCAA tournament hopes. Villanova is favored by 6 points, but the total is only 136 so I’m banking on the Bulldogs putting the clamps on Bamba.

College Basketball Props Prediction 2: Tony Perkins Iowa, OVER 15.5 Points (-110) DK

Iowa Hawkeyes guard Tony Perkins is averaging 15.5 points per game while clearing this number in 12 of his 26 games for a 46% success rate.

However, Perkins has been hot with 16+ points in 7 of his last 9 games. Just short of year ago, Perkins scored 24 points on the Michigan State Spartans while shooting 8-12 from the field and playing 38 minutes.

Perkins has now played 30+ minutes in 9 straight games and while taking double-digit shot attempts in six of those games.

The Spartans do rank 35th with only 65.8 points allowed per game and they need this victory. However, Iowa enters the game as 9.5-point underdogs and Perkins is hands down their best player. The focus will be on him, but Perkins will be firing away, making 16 points very attainable.
