Freeman will be guaranteed a full 9 innings of at-bats while playing on the road and wind doesn’t matter quite as much in San Francisco, but it is blowing out to center field. 

MLB Player Props Today for Thursday: Oneil Cruz Pittsburgh Pirates OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-105)

Oneil Cruz is in his prime and he’s covered this HRR line in 7 of his last 11 games including each of the first two games of this series where he’s gone a combined 2-9 with a three-run blast last night in the top of the 9th inning last night.

Now Cruz has another opportunity to feast on Jacob deGrom who he’s gone 3-9 (.333) against with a home run and a double.

Cruz isn’t the only Pirates slugger that has had success against deGrom as they have combined for a .272 batting average with three home runs across 84 plate appearances.

deGrom has been sharp for the most part, but he hasn’t pitched very deep into games including a 4-inning outing in his last start.

The Rangers will need multiple relievers tonight and Cruz has thrived against their pen including Jalen Beeks (2-4 2HR) & Tyler Alexander (1-2 3B). The Pirates stud is projected to bat leadoff tonight and that will maximize his at-bats while playing on the road.
