NBA Player Props Best Bet #1: Jayson Tatum (BOS) Over 33.5 Points + Rebounds (-110)

It was a wire-to-wire win for Boston in their 123-91 Game 1 win at home over Philadelphia as they’ll look to replicate a similar result tonight.

We’re expecting a somewhat more competitive game as we’ll look for Jayson Tatum to go over 33.5 points + rebounds tonight. He had 36 points + rebounds in Game 1 and in eight post season games last season averaged 39.6 points + rebounds per game.

Aside from Game 1 Tatum hadn’t faced the 76ers this season but in his last 10 games against Philadelphia he has averaged 39.3 points + rebounds per game.

It’s also worth noting that the 76ers will once again be without Joel Embiid which will only increase rebounding and scoring chances inside for the Boston power forward. The 76ers also allowed the fifth most rebounds per game to power forwards during the regular season.

Averaging 35.6 points + rebounds over his last five games overall, let’s take Tatum to be a factor on both sides of the floor tonight in Game 2 against Philadelphia going over 33.5 points + rebounds at home.

NBA Player Props Best Bet #2: Stephon Castle (SA) Over 12.5 Rebounds + Assists (-125)

Stephon Castle stuffed the stat sheet in San Antonio’s Game 1 win accumulating 14 rebounds + assists as we’ll look for him to go over 12.5 rebounds + assists tonight.

The Game 1 stat line was nothing new for Castle who has surpassed this number in eight out of his last nine games overall while averaging 16.6 rebounds + assists during that time.

In his one game against Portland in the regular season he notched 14 rebounds + assists and averaged 17 rebounds + assists per 40 minutes this season.

Castle shot just 4-13 from the field and if the shooting inconsistencies happen again tonight, he’ll look to make his impact in other facets of the game as he tied Keldon Johnson for the team lead in rebounds in Game 1.

During the regular season the Spurs were second in total rebounds per game and ninth in assists per game so let’s take Castle to rebound and pass efficiently once again going over 12.5 rebounds + assists and if you’re a plus money bettor, a sprinkle on his double-double prop is +250 and triple double is +2200 notching five triple doubles in the regular season.
