THE PLAY: Ayo Dosunmu (CHI) Over 3.5 Assists vs Brooklyn
The Bulls' injury list is growing quickly as Coby White, Kevin Huerter and Isaac Okoro are all expected to be out for this contest against the Nets, while Zach Collins is questionable. That should provide some more opportunities for young guard Ayo Dosunmu, who has produced 11 assists across his last two games. Dosunmu is averaging 3.2 assists per game this season, but with White and Huerter out, the ball is likely going to be in his hands a little bit more than it has been in the past. Brooklyn's defense has allowed the second-most assists per game to opposing shooting guards this season. Chicago's traditional point guard, Josh Giddey, had a whopping eight turnovers in the Bulls' last game, so there is an opportunity for Dosunmu to become a bigger part of the offense. Chicago is No. 5 in the league in assist ratio this season, so the Bulls have done a good job of sharing the ball. Dosunmu averaged 4.5 assists per game in two head-to-head matchups against the Nets last year.
