THE PLAY: 1H France -1.0 (-139)
There's a major gap between these teams. France ranks #2 in the world while Iraq is #60. Having gotten off to a sluggish start in the first half of their opening match, France should be all business right from the opening kickoff of this one. Iraq was outmatched against Norway, falling 4-1. They conceded twice in the first half. While a 1-0 (or 2-1) halftime score is possible, which would result in a push, I feel its more likely to be 2-0 (or even 3-0) France by the break. Play France for the first half at -1, up to -150
THE PLAY: Los Angeles Sparks +5.5 (-118)
The Sparks may be catching the Liberty at the right time. Last game, NY lost outright as a double-digit favorite against Washington. In their previous game, the Liberty only beat Chicago by a single point. Keep in mind that Chicago and Washington are a combined 11-18. These teams have split the past four meetings and all four were decided by 10 or less. With NY potentially looking ahead to Tuesday's game at Las Vegas, don't be surprised when the Sparks give them all they can handle. *good at +4 or better
