THE PLAY: Houston Texans -2.5 (-110)
Tampa Bay escaped Atlanta last week with a 23-20 win, but the numbers tell a different story: the Bucs were outgained by nearly 100 yards and needed late-game urgency to pull it off. That type of performance doesn’t usually hold up, especially in this spot. Tampa is 0-10 ATS on Mondays after a win.
Houston, meanwhile, comes in off a tough 14-9 loss at the Rams, but there’s no reason to downgrade them heavily. The Texans still have balance on both sides of the ball, and the market often favors 0-1 teams vs 1-0 teams in Week 2, a long-standing profitable trend. Starting in 2024, Dwayne shifted his MLB handicapping method and now uses situational angles found using the powerful SDQL database. DB's volume fluctuates based on how many sports are active and how many plays qualify on a given day. Dwayne will pass if nothing is strong enough, but he's not afraid to make eight bets or more on any given day if that's how many plays qualify.
