Just like yesterday on this page, I’m going with an ‘action’ wager here – the gulf between these two teams is truly enormous. We’re talking about the league’s biggest payroll vs the league’s smallest, perfectly capable of withstanding any late pitching change.

LA’s bats are hot, pounding out six or more runs in nine of their last twelve games, and they’re 8-1 in their last nine, in the midst of another hot streak. Six of those eight wins have come by multi-run margins; they’ll get all nine innings of at bats here as the road team. LA’s bullpen behind Gonsolin is in great shape considering they used seven pitchers in a ‘bullpen’ game last night.

Assuming Cal Quantrill goes for the Marlins, it’s surely worth noting that the Dodgers hammered him just last week in LA (short turnaround second look here) and he’s been pretty awful in four of his five previous outings this season. At 1-8 in their last nine games -- four of the last five losses coming by multi-run margins – the Marlins surprising start has tuned into a ‘last place already’ situation now; a bottom feeder team worth fading again here. -260 is CHEAP here, folks! Ted Sevransky better known as Teddy Covers moved to Las Vegas to bet on sports full-time back in 1998 and he's been doing it successfully ever since. Teddy is a 1992 University of Michigan graduate. His handicapping approach is fine tuned for the modern betting marketplace in 2023; a market that is dominated by stat-based quants - the sharp money.
