THE PLAY: Cam Ward Passing Interceptions Over +0.5 (103)
2% Cam Ward Over 0.5 Interceptions (1:00 ET): This is a prop bet I talked about throughout the summer.
Last season, the Jets became the 1st team in NFL history NOT to record a single interception during the entire regular season. Call me "optimistic," but I think they'll record at least one in 2026. In fact, I think they'll intercept Titans' Cam Ward in Week 1.
Ward only threw seven interceptions all of last year, his rookie season. Considering he had the 8th most passing attempts in the league, that INT number actually wasn't bad. But I think, in his second season, the Titans' offense figures to be a bit more aggressive and there's a likelihood more mistakes will be made.
End of the day, positive turnover regression is coming for the J-E-T-S. The defense did record three interceptions in the preseason. With WR Carnell Tate being the Titans' top draft choice, Ward is going to air it out more this season.
