THE PLAY: Temple +10.0 (-115)

The College Football Playoff committee has Tulane as the highest rated G5 team in the country. I have the Green Wave rated as the luckiest team in the country. Five of their wins this season have been by seven points or fewer and that does not even include last week, when they got by FAU 35-24 thanks to a +3 turnover margin (were outgained in the contest). With HC Jon Sumrall possibly entertaining offers from larger programs, I do not see Tulane ending up in CFP. (For what it's worth, I would make both James Madison and North Texas about a TD favorite over the Green Wave).

Temple is coming off a bye and needs one more win to get bowl eligible. The Owls are 7-3 ATS this season and two of their five SU losses have been by one point. Two other SU losses came at the hands of Georgia Tech and Oklahoma. With both of Tulane's SU losses this year coming on the road, I could only take the points in this matchup.
