THE PLAY: Tampa Bay Rays -132 Shane McClanahan (LHP) Must Start
Tampa has a scheduling advantage in this one. The Rays had Thursday off. The Giants played a double-header. The Giants suffered tough losses in both games. They lost the first in the ninth inning and the second in the 10th. In both cases, they took a lead into the bottom of the 9th. It marked the first time since 1956 that the Giants were "walked off" in both ends of a doubleheader. That made for a very long day, particularly as the second game included a rain delay. McClanahan has a 2.00 ERA in two home starts, opposing batters hitting .125. Off a home win in his last start, McClanahan commented: "I love pitching here, man. I love pitching for this community, this team." Let's go Rays. *good at -150 or better
