2* Rotation #905: MLB Thursday 2* OVER 9 -115 in Cincinnati Reds vs Chicago Cubs @ 7:10 ET - Action on the pitchers as there is uncertainty vey early Thursday morning in terms of who will start here. Will it be the Reds Hunter Greene versus the Cubs Javier Assad? The fact is I like this play no matter the starters. Currently FanDuel, among others, has this total set at 9 with the over -115 and we have solid line value here. This play for me is based on a favorable hitters park with favorable weather conditions expected plus a pair of confident lineups producing plenty of scoring of late. The Cubs have averaged scoring 5.4 runs per game last 8 games! The Reds have won 9 of 12 games thanks, in part, to scoring an average of 5.6 runs per game! The Reds bullpen ranks in middle of the pack for team ERA this season while the Cubs bullpen ranks in the lower third of the majors for team ERA so far this season. Cincinnati is the top hitting team (.271 batting average) the last 15 days in the National League. The Cubs rank 4th in the NL the L7 days with a .436 slugging percentage. So here you have a pair of teams playing with confidence at the plate right now and I expect a back and forth divisional battle in this one no matter who ends up on the mound here in terms of starting pitchers. Remember these are divisional foes and that familiarity with the opponents pitching staff helps (especially when lineups are running hot) and these teams recently met for a 3 games series in Chicago. 2* OVER 9 -115 in Cincinnati
