4% Arlington @ D.C.

The past couple times Arlington QB Luis Perez has faced this D.C. defense he shredded it for 581 passing yards and 66.2% completions. The Renegades have scored 35 & 28 points in those meetings and with 3 DB’s out including last week’s starting CB Nydair Rouse this is a matchup which is likely to be exploited again. Additionally, Defenders DC Gregg Williams blitz happy style has been carved up by Perez whose quick release style has resulted in being sacked just twice in his 68 pass attempts. Arlington’s #1 pass offense rolled along last week with 257 pass yards and 36 points vs. XFL regular season conference champ and they’ve added a run element that was missing most of the season. Defensively however they remain vulnerable allowing 23.6 ppg the L5G and 22+ in 7 of their 9 games. D.C. is showing a point scoring resurgence the past couple games scoring 57 total and they do have capable weaponry. These teams have been involved in scoreboard shootouts the L2 times they’ve met registering 61 points in last season’s Championship Game and 57 in their Week #3 contest this season. On board this point scoring train where the matchups indicate they’re headed for 50+ for a third straight time.
