4% San Antonio @ St. Louis

Stakes are high in this one since home field advantage in next week’s XFL Conference Championship game is on the line. Generally this situation would have the teams playing close to the vest and protecting against injuries but here we figure to get full effort. St. Louis which has the largest home attendance and is 4-0 here this season would love to host San Antonio again in the UFL semifinal round. Brahmas also a strong 4-1 at the Alamodome and #3 in average home attendance would also love to spend next weekend on their turf. Difference in this spot is likely to be the offensive firepower available. St. Louis gave #1 QB A.J. McCarron’s ankle an extra week off last week so he’d be healthy for this contest and their passing game has the most weaponry in the league when he’s at the helm. Conversely, San Antonio will be without two of their best playmakers RB Anthony McFarland and TE Cody Lattimer plus leading rusher John Lovett (#2 in UFL). McFarland had just returned to the lineup 2 games ago and immediately re-ignited the Brahmas explosiveness. The trio has scored 11 of the team’s 22 TD’s this season which is likely to much to overcome in this situation. QB Chase Garbers is back but San Antonio’s limited offensively in this game. Battlehawks HC Anthony Becht: “We’re playing to win, we’re trying to win this game. We’re not worried about what we're doing or what we’re showing. We’re trying to get our guys prepared so we can get in that groove heading into the playoffs.” Solid stance here early with the extremely focused home squad with current edge in available personnel.
