In a series filled with stars, who would have thought that P.J. Washington would be the difference-maker on more than one occasion in this Thunder vs Mavericks matchup?! For the second-straight game, the Dallas power forward led his squad in scoring with 27 points on 11-of-23 shooting, including 5-for-12 from three-point range. Luka Doncic had a playoff-high 15 rebounds, but just 22 points in the Mavericks' 105-101 win in Game 3. The 23 points per game that Doncic is averaging so far in this series is a far cry from the 34 points per game that he averaged during the regular season. Oklahoma City's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander did all he could in Game 3, scoring 31 points on 10-of-23 shooting. The biggest question surrounding Oklahoma City heading into the playoffs was how well their young roster would handle the bright lights without much postseason experience in the past. Those questions are getting louder as several players seem to be shying away from the ball. Josh Giddey is only playing only 14 minutes per game while averaging just six points per game for the Thunder. Who is going to step up and help Gilgeous-Alexander fill the stat sheet? Among the 16 playoff teams, Oklahoma City is No. 2 in defensive rating in the postseason. Gilgeous-Alexander had five blocks in Saturday's loss. The defensive intensity will be there, but we're not sure Dallas can keep counting on Washington to make five three-pointers each game.
