Analysis

4* Rotation #508: Saturday NBA 4* Cleveland Cavaliers +7.5 vs Boston Celtics @ 8:30 ET - The Cavaliers blew out the Celtics in Game 2 thanks in part to hot shooting from 3 point land. However, they outscored Boston by only 15 points from 3 point land in the 24 point win. Cleveland was hot from beyond the arc but only had 5 more made threes. The reason this is significant is because the point is the victory was truly not a fluke. The Cavs rebounded well, played solid overall and got a much deserved win. Now I am not saying they win outright again here but I am saying that Boston is over-valued in this spot on the road. The Celtics are facing a team with sky-high confidence now and that team is excited to be on their home court. The Cavaliers went 26-15 at home in the regular season and the Celtics went 27-14 on the road this season. That said, Boston is over-valued here simply because they are off a loss. Sure the Celtics want to respond but this Cavaliers team is a solid one and they also might have Jarrett Allen and/or Dean Wade available for this one. The Celtics remain without Porzyngis. That being said, the health edge is starting to tip toward the Cavs and you know they are absolutely full of momentum and confidence coming back home and having stolen one of the two games in Boston. Also, remember that the Cavaliers play solid defense too and will be amped up for this one. This one could turn into a lower-scoring grinder where having the points on your side is a huge value! Certainly 7.5 is a lot of cushion to have for a strong home dog like the Cavs. Grab the points. 4* CLEVELAND +7.5
