This horrific run that's occurred in MLB/KBO (the AAA plays have been great and have been posted for free on my X/@topflightsi) over the past few days has to end at some point and I expect the turnaround to start here.

Was surprised to see KT Wiz take money in this spot but I guess that's what a little win streak and a “name" pitcher on the mound will do. KT has been a sub par team for most of the season so far, still just 16-21-1 even after the four game win streak, but the masses have laid the juice here with KT at home with the “better pitcher” on the mound.

I'm not entirely sure that's the case, Cuevas is the more decorated starting pitcher but Min-Hyeok Shin had an excellent season in 2023 (3.98 ERA 1.20 WHIP) and has been great so far this year with a 3.22 ERA and 1.22 WHIP, very similar to the numbers Cuevas has posted.  

Even if you give Cuevas the nod from a SP perspective, NC should have a sizeable bullpen edge after KT Wiz used 6 relievers to close out last night's 7-6 extra inning win.

I think NC might be the best team in KBO, they have nailed their import SP's again with Daniel Castano and Kyle Hart both off to solid starts and are 22-14 and just two games back of first place Kia with import slugger Matt Davidson having missed a couple weeks in mid-April. 

NC is Top 5 (top half of the league) in most offensive metrics with quality starting pitching and a 3.92 bullpen ERA that leads KBO.  I couldn't turn down the run cushion with the Dinos here.
