Analysis

Same play that got rained out yesterday except it will be Charlie Barnes for Lotte instead of Se-Woong Park.

I think the fact this line is exactly the same as it was yesterday says A LOT about where the oddsmakers have Charlie Barnes rated this season since one would think an import starter like Barnes would garner more respect than Park in the betting markets.

Barnes numbers are telling, he's struck out 9, 11 and 10 in his last three starts respectively but has given up two or more earned runs in six straight starts because he doesn't throw very hard.  Barnes has devastating put away pitches for KBO, which is why he's racking up the strikeouts, but Korean hitters are good at targeting a pitch in an at bat and that's what they collectively have been able to do to Barnes this season.

In those same three starts with all the strikeouts Barnes has allowed five home runs which tells me guys are willing to go up there against Barnes and look foolish (if they get fooled) as a trade off for being able to handle his sub par velo and send one into orbit if they square it up.

There's no team better at this than Hanwha, the Eagles .252 batting average is last in KBO but the Yonathan Perlaza, Si-Hwan Roh, Eun-Seong Chae part of that Eagles batting order is capable of hitting any pitchers in this league.

Then we still have Hyun-Jin Ryu and all of the stuff I pointed out in yesterday's analysis that still plays here with a rested Hanwha bullpen that's far better than Lotte's relief unit.  I like the matchup just as much as yesterday so hopefully the rain holds off and we have action here.

Play on Hanwha Eagles -130 for 4% (or 4 units)
