I've been waiting for the Mets to call up Christian Scott and he will make his Major League debut in a favorable scenario here.

Scott's only real flaw at AAA has been giving up the home run but the Rays are at the bottom of the AL in HR's this season (only the White Sox have hit fewer) and Tropicana Field tends to be pitcher friendly in this regard.

New York has an elite bullpen, the Mets have the best ERA, FIP and WAR in the National League and trailed once Quintana left yesterday so all of their high leverage bullpen arms are available here.

Zack Littell is a quality starter but he's probably going 5-6 innings at most which should give the Mets bullpen, which has been BY FAR better than the Rays pen, a nice late game edge for the visitors.

Scott has some excellent swing and miss stuff and the Rays have never seen him which is going to make it difficult to prepare for Scott who wasn't really on anyone's radar prior to this season.  I also think the Mets are just the overall better of these two teams and like them to bounce back to even up this series.
