Analysis

5* EPL (200117) Tottenham at (200118) Liverpool OVER 3.75 -118 Sunday @ 11:30 AM ET - Whether you find this total at 3.75 goals or 4 goals, I am expecting 5 or more goals in this one but do your line shopping early of course if possible. I am releasing this play early Saturday morning for this reason. I love this spot as you have two normally potent clubs coming off disappointing results. Now this is a bit of a heavyweight battle of sorts yet there is not a whole lot of pressure for either club. That should mean a rather loose and relaxed style of play here with plenty of attacking. The reason I say the pressure is off is because the reality is Liverpool knows the odds are too heavily stacked against them to win the top spot in the league with both Arsenal and Manchester City above them and yet their Champions League spot is secure. As for Tottenham, they realize that the odds of getting a top four sport have now been reduced from slim to nearly none. That said, both clubs just come into this one hungry to get going and resume playing the way they both know they are fully capable of playing. That means attack, attack, attack and attack some more. Amazingly, Tottenham has not scored in its last two road matches so they will surely be out to rectify that situation Sunday. The Hotspur have allowed 3 goals per match on average in last 3 matches. Tottenham has scored a total of 5 goals in last two meetings with the Reds but Liverpool did score 4 goals the last time they hosted this match-up. Look for a 3-2 type match here. Tottenham scores an average of 2 goals per match this season while Liverpool scores 2.5 goals per match when at home. The Reds are a sizable home favorite with good reason here. 3-2 looks right to me! Liverpool could be without a key defender too as Virgil van Dijk is a doubt for this match. With Liverpool winless in last two matches and Tottenham having lost 3 straight matches, I fully expect a huge effort from both clubs on the attack and a very entertaining affair here. OVER 3.75 -118 in Tottenham
