Analysis

2* Rotation #906: MLB Friday 2* Philadelphia Phillies -165 vs San Francisco Giants @ 6:40 ET - Line value here because the Giants are certainly a respectable team and they have a pitcher with a low ERA on the mound for this one. However, the Phillies are offering solid line value here with Aaron Nola on the mound. He is known for being so strong at home and the veteran has had his curve ball in top notch form for many of his recent starts. Great spot here with San Francisco off a win. Note that SF is 2-11 last 13 when off a win! That includes 0-5 the last 5 times when on the road and coming off a loss! This one makes it 6 in a row as they travel to Philly for this one. The Phillies have won 6 of 7 games and 13 of last 16 games. Philadelphia has averaged 6 runs per game in their last 15 games. San Francisco has averaged 2.3 runs per game last 7 games. The Phillies have gone 17-5 this season against teams that currently have a losing record. The Giants have gone 3-6 this season against teams with a winning record. Nola had a bad first start in March but in April he went 4-1 with a 2.06 ERA in a fantastic overall stretch of performances in his 5 starts. As for the Giants Jordan Hicks, he is off to a solid start this season but has struggled more against lefties again this season and that has been normal in his career. The Phillies are loaded with tough left-handed bats and, overall, a tough lineup that has been starting to heat up in recent weeks. More of the same here. 2* PHILADELPHIA -165
