QUICK ANALYSIS
We take the NYI here for the first period ML strictly because the price is too good to pass up. Yes the NYI could go down in 4 straight games but they no showed in the first period at home in Game 3. Say what you will about Patty Roy but he will not let his team go down without a fight. That starts with not being embarrassed right from the start, especially in front of the loyal fans. In Game 1 and Game 2 the Islanders had great first period winning one and pushing the other. Getting 140 for the first period here seems crazy to me and we will look for the NYI to show pride and have a great first period and get us that big underdog win.
