The Magic and Cavaliers series shifts to Orlando for Game 3. The Magic have flat out shot awful in this series. They are 34.3% from the field and 23.6% from beyond the arc. If the Magic don't put together a better offensive effort, obviously their season is over. The Magic shoot 48.8% at home on the season and 35.4% from three. It's fair to expect them to shoot better at home. The Cavaliers offense isn't great, but it is more efficient and they have better scorers. Now both of these teams are bottom 10 in pace in the league, but that shouldn't prohibit both of them from getting to 100 points in this game. Three of the four regular season meetings went well over this number and the fourth landed on 198. I fully expect some positive regression here for both teams. The Magic have to start this game hot and score, otherwise they could be dead by halftime. Plus, given the nature of the game, I don't see Orlando pulling up early in the 4th quarter if they are down by double-digits because they know that essentially the series is over. If Cleveland's defense can keep the Magic to those paltry shooting numbers for a third straight game, I'll tip my cap to them. But I don't think it's happening here.
