In Game #1 of this series I was on New Orleans as I said..

“Oklahoma City is the #1 seed but this is a young ball club that is in uncharted water. Do I think they win this series yes but I think this is a dangerous game for them. Being the #1 seed which they got on the final day of the season and catch a New Orleans team that isn’t at full strength might just have OKC feeling a little too Fat n Sassy”.

I thought game #1 would be close and it was Oklahoma City only WON by 2 points. But for all the reasons I went against Oklahoma City in Game 1 we are now taking them in Game 2. Oklahoma City has a game under their belt and they escaped with a Win. I said they were in uncharted water being a young team but they got the win in Game 1 and now will not only have confidence moving forward they will be super focused after having the major scare in Game 1. I love taking a good Team that had a scare in their last game because you know in their next game they are bringing their A-Game and their A-Game is too much for New Orleans. In OKC’s L5 games they held 4 of their 5 opponents to 38% or less shooting. They have held 5 straight opponents to 107 or fewer points.  In fact they held 3 of the 5 to 92 or fewer. Defense Wins in the Playoffs and they will shutdown New Orleans without Zion. Offensively I expect OKC to be much better as remember they hadn’t played a game in a Week and looked a little rusty.  My numbers have OKLAHOMA CITY  Winning by 12-14 points.
