MLS - Toronto FC at Orlando City SC 

Game Thoughts: It's the old adage, what's old is new again. And while we cashed last week with TFC at home at plus money, that was against an off form Revolution team and a road trip to Orlando City isn't likely to turn out well. Toronto did pick up 4 points to start their season in 2 road contests but were coming off a season where they went winless and much of what hindered them in 2023 has been evident in their 3 road games since with 3 losses and 9 goals conceded. Orlando City were involved in CONCACAF Champions League soccer and many MLS teams struggle early in the season as they're coming out of preseason campaigns and focusing on the tournament with their regular starting units while trying to manage the opening of the MLS season. Eventually the better clubs put it together and at home OCSC are a good squad. They are only 1-1-2 this season at home but come off a very good 9 win 5 draw 3 loss season last year with a +12 goal differential that helped propel them into the #2 seed in the Eastern conference. Toronto's last 3 visits to Orlando have resulted in 3 losses while failing to score in each. (4-0, 4-0, 1-0) and they'll likely be short on the bench this weekend with a couple injuries and a midweek Canadian Championship game albeit I don't expect many of their regular 11 to feature in that one against a Canadian club in the 2nd tier.
