Baltimore continues to take money here (as they seem to do every day) so we now have the +1.5 at a playable price.

I love the young talent in the Baltimore organization (we will get to see another one tonight with Heston Kjerstad getting the call up) but I'll be surprised if the Orioles can continue to win at this rate.  Baltimore had 4 runs on just 6 hits last night, their prized prospect Jackson Holliday is 1 for 30 since being called up and the bullpen isn't as good as it was last year but the Orioles have won 7 of their past 8 in spite of this.  

Baltimore leads the MLB in home runs, they have one of their top young arms on the mound in Greyson Rodriguez but the Angels have professional hitters too and they just saw Rodriguez earlier this month.  The same can be said for Baltimore having seen Canning but Canning has terrible numbers against the Orioles so that's more than “baked in” here.

Yennier Cano threw 21 pitches last night, Craig Kimbrel threw 23 and Kimbrel was let off the hook at the end with Trout failing to get the bat off his shoulder with bases loaded and the game on the line.

This feels like the spot where the Orioles finally drop one, if they don't we have the run to work with and possibly cash this ticket in a close game.
