(951) Milwaukee Brewers at (952) Pittsburgh Pirates
The Brewers and Pirates start a four-game series at PNC Park. Pittsburgh is starting Jared Jones. The 22-year old right handers is one of the best young arms in baseball. He has electric stuff and 32 strikeouts in 23 innings on the season. But the Brewers have one of the best lineups in baseball. They are second in batting average and OPS and third in wRC+ on the season. Jones faced two weak lineups in the Mets and Marlins in his four starts and two good ones in Philly and Baltimore. He\'s given up at least two runs in three of four starts, but went scoreless against the Mets his last time out. Strangely, the Brewers have only got four or more runs in two of their last seven games. So it makes me like them a little more in this spot. Plus the Pirates bullpen is bottom 10 in ERA on the season, so there may be some chances late for Milwaukee to get a run if needed. I just don\'t think you\'re going to see many opportunities to get the Brewers at a team total of 3.5 and at even money. I think it\'s worth the gamble.
