The Angels and Orioles starts a series in Anaheim. Baltimore made a last minute change in starting pitchers giving the ball to Albert Suarez. The 34-year old made his first start in seven years last week against Minnesota. He went 5.2 innings and gave up no runs on three hits. But the Twins have been one of the worst offenses in the league to this point in the season and the Angels have been much better. The Angels have also only played six home games to this point but have homered in five of them. For me, this is more about Reid Detmers on the mound. The left-hander has been great to start the season. 3-0 with a 1.19 ERA, a 0.97 WHIP and 30 strikeouts in 22.2 innings. Opponents are batting just .195 against Detmers on the season. The Orioles do not his lefties as well as they hit righties this season. Both of these bullpens are scary, but the Angels is scarier to start the season. I believe the Angels get to Suarez early here, so I'll take the plus money on the run line instead of laying the juice on the money line.
