I love this Yankees team.  I don’t think the Yankees have hit their stride yet or have their optimal roster and they still have started 14-7.  

Luis Gil has tremendous stuff, my only real criticism of Gil is he doesn't pitch deep but if he gives us five strong innings I'm confident we get to the latter inningswith the lead and a chance to win here.

The Rays pen has been awful and used 4 relievers to hold on to an extra innings win yesterday.   I have the Rays as a very overvalued team based on past success and make this more like -150 so will take a stab with the Yanks winning the rubber match at home this afternoon.  

As far as additional analysis here I have no real issues with Aaron Civale but he's given up something to every team he's faced this season and I think this Yankees offense will come in focused after being shut out yesterday.  Trusting Gil to match Civale and going to take my chances with the Yankees bullpen which currently rates out in the Top 5 of MLB teams against a Rays bullpen that's statistically been the worst bullpen in the American League all season.
