2% Minnesota Timberwolves (-1.5) over Phoenix Suns — 

If you guys checked out the NBA Playoff Guide on my page, or saw the video that my dad and I did with Kelly you may know that not just one but TWO of the bigger playoff trends that I mentioned apply to the Timberwolves. 

1. Teams off a loss as HF … 26-14 ATS
2. Teams coming in after shooting 50%+ … 22-13 ATS

Yet it doesn’t end there. It is a very interesting situation coming into this game because not only did Minnesota get upset in the season finale and STILL manage to shoot over 50% from the field … but tehr kicker, it was against these Phoenix Suns. That adds another layer to the revenge & playoff angles. 

Not to mention, Minnesota already has been one of the top teams this season when playing with revenge on their mind. The Timberwolves are 8-0 ATS revenging a SU L as a HF TY, winning those games by nearly 14 PPG. Even more impressively though, they are 10-0 ATS revenging a SU L @ H (regardless of the line). 

Minnesota does NOT take kindly to losing, especially at home. This has been a positive situation for the Timberwolves all season and history shows it has been a positive situation in the playoffs in recent years.
