(565) Milwaukee Bucks at (566) Washington Wizards

Play Rating:
4% – (565) Milwaukee Bucks at (566) Washington Wizards Total Under 228.5 (-110)

By this point in the season, most NBA bettors are aware that the Wizards have played at the fastest pace in the league this year. Most of the pieces that pushed that pace through out the season will be out for Tuesday's contest with the Bucks. Kyle Kuzma and Tyus Jones are out for the Wizards while Damian Lillard will miss this one for Milwaukee. Should this total be flirting with 230 points? We don't believe so. The Bucks are coming off a 122-113 win in Atlanta (without Lillard). Patrick Beverly filled in for Lillard and scored 18 points while adding five rebounds and five assists. This is the first leg of a back-to-back for the Bucks, who play Memphis tomorrow. Washington has been getting a double-digit head start on the point spread most nights, but it simply hasn't mattered. The Wizards are 5-11 against the spread in their last 16 games and they are 10-19-1 ATS as a home 'dog this season. Milwaukee is just 1-5 straight-up without Lillard this season, so the Bucks have struggled without him. We're certainly not ready to predict an outright upset, but we do feel confident in the under. Lillard and Kuzma combine to score 47 points per game. That is a lot of missing production from this game. In the six games without Lillard this season, the Bucks are scoring an average of 111 points per game. Milwaukee's road games have gone 21-15-1 to the under this season. Four of Washington's last six games have stayed under the total.
