Total Over 7.5 (-118) K Harrison (LHP), J Musgrove (RHP) Must Start…(4%)

Totals continue to be my bread and butter as I'm not riding a 14-5 totals streak, and we'll look at another over today with a relatively low total featuring two pitchers I do not trust.

Harrison goes for the Giants, who began his career last year, and he didn't have the strongest rookie campaign, to put it lightly. Through his first seven games last year, Harrison had a 4.15 ERA, but the main thing he struggled with was his walk to strikeout ratio, which was very poor, he struggled striking out batters and the scouting report became very clear that he was walking a ton of guys. Last year, when Harrison faced the Padres, he surrendered four homers and six total runs in just under six innings of work, so although he's getting a chance at some revenge today, things aren't looking great as far as the match-up goes.

I don't think Joe Musgrove of the Padres is the pitcher we once saw him as. Towards the end of last year, he was giving up at least six, seven, or even eight runs in his starts. Musgrove pitched in the Padres second regular season game in Korea and lasted just 2.2 innings. Against the Dodgers, Musgrove gave up seven hits, five runs, two walks, and two strikeouts.

Last night, these teams combined for ten runs; now, with two pitchers on the mound, I don't trust we're seeing a 7.5 as the total. Lock in the OVER in this one and look for some runs for both teams.
