Another 15% of her points occur in transition where Minnesota ranks 4th defensively. Ionescu has fallen short of this line in a perfect 7/7 games against teams that rank top 13 in pick-&-roll ballhandler defense while averaging only 8.6 points per game. This sets up as a letdown spot for the New York Liberty and Ionescu is still working her way back from an injury.
WNBA Props Today: Chennedy Carter Las Vegas Aces OVER 13.5 Points (-112)
A’ja Wilson is listed as questionable, but she just missed theWNBA Commissioners Cup Final a few days ago so I’m banking on her missing tonight’s contest.
Chennedy Carter scored 18 points across 25 minutes of play in that game and that’s the first time that she has played 20+ minutes since May 23rd as she was also working her way back from injury.
When Carter has played 20+ minutes in 2026, she has covered this line in 6/6 games while averaging 21.3 points per game. The Chicago Sky defense struggles against driving guards as they have allowed the 3rd most points in the restricted area and the 4th most points in the paint.
We have seen multiple opposing guards eclipse their point lines against Chicago recently including Chelsea Gray (18), Carla Leite (18) and Paige Bueckers (19).
Carter finished with 11 points in her lone head-to-head game against the Sky in 2026, but she only played 16 minutes, and Wilson scored 30 points in that game. The Aces are only favored by -6.5 with a massive total of 181.5 so we should avoid a blowout in a high scoring affair.
