Expert WNBA Props for Thursday: Skylar Diggins, Storm OVER 17.5 points (-120)

After averaging only 15.1 points per game last season, Skylar Diggins has carved out a larger role as a scorer as she’s averaged 18.9 points per game during the 2025 campaign.

Diggins has covered this line in each of her last five games and 13/17 games (76%) on the season. That includes a 20-point effort against the Atlanta Dream on May 30th, and she also scored 29 & 16 points against in two head-to-head games against Atlanta last season.

The Dream do an amazing job defending the perimeter, but Diggins does the majority of her damage as a pick & roll ballhandler where Atlanta ranks dead last defensively.

Diggins scores 65% of her points inside the arc and the Dream rank bottom 4 defensively at defending the rim and the mid-range.

Atlanta could be weakened defensively as Rhyne Howard is questionable with an upper body injury. Diggins has taken 13+ field goal attempts, 3+ three-points attempts and 5+ free throw attempts during each of her last five games and with that type of volume 17+ points is very attainable.

The Seattle Storm are favored by 2 points so we should see a close game that leads to full minutes for Diggins.

Expert WNBA Props for Thursday: Alyssa Thomas, Mercury OVER 29.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-130)

Alyssa Thomas fell short on the hook for us with her RA line in her last game against the Las Vegas Aces. However, Thomas just got snubbed for a starting spot in the WNBA All-Star game and I see her playing with a chip on her shoulder tonight in Dallas.

The Wings could/will be missing several key defenders as Arike Ogunbowale has been ruled out, DiJonai Carrington is doubtful, and Myisha Hines-Allen is questionable.

Thomas has fell short with only 23 PRA in her lone game against Dallas this season, but she recorded 32+ PRA in her prior five matchups.

She has also covered this PRA line in 5 of her last 6 games (L2) and 75% of her games on the season. The Mercury are favored just watched a six-game winning streak fall by the wayside and they ae favored by -11.5 on Thursday night.

This game sets up Thomas for plenty of rebound chances and she will have her offensively against a compromised team. Thomas is the type of playing that holds a grudge and I see her sending the league a statement the All-Star snub.
