NRFI Prediction 1: Rays vs Orioles (-125)

The Rays and Orioles meet for a two-game set starting tonight at 6:40pm ET with only 12 total runs being scored combined in the first three games these two played back in May.

The Rays have been a part of seven straight NRFI games sending Tyler Glasnow to the mound tonight. The Rays righty is 2-0 with a 3.43 ERA and hasn’t allowed a first inning run in all four of his starts this season so far.

You wouldn’t know it from Baltimore’s record but they’re actually the third worst team in the MLB in first inning run scoring. The Orioles send Kyle Bradish to the mound who hasn’t allowed a first inning run in ten of his previous 11 starts.

This game will have a playoff atmosphere to it tonight as both pitchers look to get out of the gates strong. Play on an Orioles vs Rays NRFI tonight at -125 before first pitch!

NRFI Prediction 1: Mets vs Astros (-138)

Justin Verlander goes against the Astros for the first time in Houston tonight since winning a World Series with them last season. He should be coming out of the gates hot despite sporting a 5.85 road ERA on the season so far.

He hasn’t allowed a first inning run in two of his past four starts with the Mets not allowing a first inning run in seven of their last nine games.

Framber Valdez starts for Houston with a 2.02 home ERA while not allowing a first inning run in his last eight starts.

The Mets are second to last in first inning scoring in the MLB with the Astros not allowing a first inning run in six of their past eight games. Play on a NRFI in tonight’s Mets vs Astros interleague matchup at -138 with first pitch going off at 8:10pm ET.
