MLB Player Props Today for Tuesday: Trevor Story, Red Sox OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-125)

Trevor Story is a very streaky hitter who had been ice cold at the dish for over a month. However, he’s caught fire during his last three games with 3, 5 and 9 HRR while going 7-15 (.467) with a home run and five RBI in the process.

Boston is dealing with injuries to key members of the lineup, so Story has been moved up to the cleanup spot where gets opportunities to drive in elite hitters like Rafael Devers and Jarren Duran.

Tampa Bay does have a solid bullpen, but Story is very familiar with this team and when he catches fire, he’s a force to be reckoned with. 

MLB Player Props Today for Tuesday: Wilson Contreras, Cardinals OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-110)

Willson Contreras is another slugger who has been swinging a hot stick as he’s logged 2+ HRR in each of his last two games and 6 of his last 8 games.

That includes yesterday’s game against the Toronto Blue Jays where he went 1-2 with an RBI, a run scored and two walks.

Contreras has recorded 6 of his 7 home runs and 28 of his 39 RBI against right-handed pitching this season.

Chris Bassitt did just hold the Philadelphia Phillies to one earned run across seven innings of work, but he did allow a combined 10 earned runs and 16 hits in the prior two outings.

Bassitt has struggled against the Cardinals in a short sample size as they have hit .444 against him with four home runs across 27 at-bats. That includes Contreras going 1-2 as the St Louis cleanup hitter.

Contreras has thrived at Busch Stadium where he’s covered this HRR line in 57% of his games compared to only 47% of his games on the road. Let’s look for Contreras to keep cooking today at home.
