Best MLB Home Run Prop Today #1: Max Muncy (LAD) +390

Dodgers third baseman Max Muncy has had a solid postseason thus far batting .250 and slugging .813 including three home runs as the Dodgers play the Brewers in Milwaukee for Game 2 of the NLCS.

LA dropped Game 1 2-1 yesterday with Muncy going 1-4 and with Milwaukee sending Logan Henderson to the mound. Muncy is 1-5 with a home run all-time against Henderson with the second year pitcher giving up 14 home runs in 98.1 innings during the regular season.

Ten of those 14 home runs have come off left handed hitters like Muncy while allowing a .360 slugging percentage compared to a .328 slugging percentage against righties.

Muncy has 19 career post season home runs in 84 total games and blasted 29 home runs during the regular season with 14 of those coming on the road.

Although the series shifts to LA after tonight’s game, the Dodgers really can’t afford to go down 0-2 against a Brewers team that is now 4-1 straight up this post season.

Take Muncy at +390 to hit his home run props tonight with other Dodgers to consider for home run props being Shohei Ohtani (+310) and Freddie Freeman (+490).

Best MLB Home Run Prop Today #2: Junior Caminero (TB) +490

Game 1 of the ALCS is finally here after the Guardians roared back down 0-2 to the White Sox and won three straight games to earn their spot in Tampa Bay tonight.

We’re going to look at Junior Caminero to cash his home run props tonight as the Rays enjoyed a nice four day break after sweeping the Yankees 3-0 in the ALDS.

Lefty Foster Griffin takes the mound for the Guardians in Game 1 who allowed 23 home runs this season with 16 of those coming against right handed hitters while also allowing a .265 average and .415 slugging percentage compared to left handed hitters allowing a .204 average and .376 slugging percentage.

In his only post season appearance against the White Sox he went just 2.2 innings of relief in Game 3 allowing two hits and one earned run.

Caminero did most of damage with his power at home this season smashing 22 of his 42 home runs while slugging .560 compared to a .491 slugging percentage on the road. Caminero didn’t hit a home run during that three-game sweep of New York but he did bat .300 including a double.

Runs may come at a premium tonight, but that doesn’t mean Caminero can’t get ahold of one as the Rays will need their offense to make some noise if they want to get past a stingy Guardians pitching staff and defense.
