3* Rotation #565 Thursday NBA 3* OVER 218 in Oklahoma City Thunder vs Dallas Mavericks @ 9:30 ET - The first game stayed under the total yet it is quite amazing it almost did go over when you consider the poor shooting of Dallas and the fact the game was a blowout loss. The Mavericks lost 117 to 95 and saw Doncic score just 19 points and go a horrible 1 of 8 from three point land. That kind of ugly performance will not be repeated here. I do expect the Thunder to once again score well at home but now the Mavs are in bounce back mode and they can't wait to get back on the floor and go into attack mode here. Look for an aggressive offensive approach from Dallas here. The Mavericks had averaged 116 points in their last 3 games before that ugly loss. Also, the Mavs rested key guys in the final regular season meeting with OKC as that game did not matter to them. Prior to that one, the Mavericks averaged 128 ppg in the first 3 meetings with the Thunder this season. That is a more accurate barometer of how this Dallas team can perform against OKC. At the same time, the Thunder have averaged 123 ppg in their 5 games against the Mavs this season. Given the above and the hunger of the Mavs in this one, I look for plenty of scoring from both clubs in this one as the Thunder stay hot at home but the Mavericks battle back in a much better effort (in comparison with Game 1) in an attempt to steal one on the road! 3* OVER 218 in Oklahoma City
