The Thunder and Mavericks meet up for Game 2 in OKC. The Thunder are the far better team. And they proved it in Game 1. I expect them to do it in Game 2. The Thunder defense is stifling at home. They are allowing just 109 points per game at home and have yet to allow an opponent to score more than 95 points this postseason. In each of the last five matchups, when the Thunder lead at half, they won the game. Their average halftime lead in those four games is 20.5 with the smallest being a two-point lead back on March 14th. The Mavericks don't have the defense to slow down the Thunder, so they will need OKC to be missing shots in order to stay in this game early. But they also have to make shots of their own, which they haven't been doing against the Thunder defense. OKC averages 60.3 points per game in the first half at home this season. I don't see them giving up 58. If they do, they are likely in trouble of losing the game outright. I expect the Thunder to continue to dominate at home.
