2% Take Oakland (#912) (listed pitchers)

The A’s started 1-7 this season.  They’re 16-12 since, including an 8-3 run in their last eleven ballgames, despite being priced as underdogs in 25 of those 28 contests. Even off a rare blown save chance last night, the A’s bullpen has been pitching at a truly elite level; #2 in MLB in bullpen ERA behind only the Yankees.  Oakland’s lineup is in solid current form: averaging more than six runs per game over their last eight contests.  Starter Ross Stripling is coming off his best outing of the year and he’s pitched great in each of his last three home starts.   Stripling threw five innings of two run ball in his lone start against the Rangers last year; underpriced today against Jose Urena, making his first start of the year; ineffective out of the bullpen in both of his last two trips to the hill. Live dog here!  Take the A’s.
