While Yu Darvish has not been incredibly effect as he would prefer to be, he has fallen victim to the big hits which is where he has given up runs in previous starts. The matchup against the Cubs and at Wrigley is a great matchup for Yu to get back on track and pick up the win. The cubs have a combined 25% whiff rate against Yu and when they do hit off him, they hit the ball in the air. The wind is blowing in today at Wrigley and should be tough to depend on the long ball. 

Justin Steele is looking to make only his 2nd start of the season as he was sidelined with a hamstring injury after his only start so far. He made 1 rehab start in AAA 5 days ago and was knocked around for 3 runs in 3.1 innings and while MLB pitchers making rehab starts usually are focused on how they feel opposed to the outcome, I would have preferred a better start to have confidence in him here. He now faces a Padres lineup who has been heating up as of late and now have the presence of Arraez to get on base and move runners over.
