FIRST FIVE 4% Detroit w/ Skubal +1/2 run -141 NYY w/ Cortes

Both teams have struggled hitting the first two games of the Series as the Yankees won 2-1 and 5-3 with NY totaling 15 hits and Detroit 12. We have two lefties here which favors the Tigers as they are 5-0 vs southpaws this season while NY is 1-5 their L6 and are #26 in SLG% vs lefties. 

Skubal has a 0.736 WHIP and in his 6 starts he did allow 4 runs twice but in the other 4 starts he’s allowed just ONE run in total. Cortes has a solid 1.09 WHIP but in his L2 starts he’s allowed 7 runs in 13 innings. 

Tigers have obviously lost their L2 road games but they are still 10-6 this season and 10-4 excluding games as dog of +140 and higher
