A huge game from Anthony Edwards on Saturday ensured the Minnesota Timberwolves took Game 1 of their series against the Denver Nuggets, something they'll look to repeat once again on Monday.

The Nuggets struggled to keep pace with the Timberwolves in the second half of that game, a rare occurrence for Denver this season, as they actually own the league's 5th best second-half scoring record.

Another major issue for Denver in that opening game was in failing to slow down Edwards who has now scored at least 33 points in four of his five post-season starts this year. On the season as a whole, the Nuggets rank a respectable 7th in defensive efficiency at home (which dropped all the way down to 16th in Saturday's Game 1), along with allowing 6.5% more from the floor to Minnesota, and 5.4% more from three point range as well when compared with their home season averages.

Minnesota, for their part, overperformed as well, seeing over a 4% jump in their shooting numbers from the floor, with their defensive rebounding percentage leaping a massive 14.8% from their season-long numbers as well.

We're expecting a huge swing in regression in Game 2, and for Denver to be completely zeroed in here, with the Nuggets faring well in this role previously, covering 12 of their last 18 games when hosting opponents with an above .600 win percentage, along with 10 of their last 14 when coming off an ATS loss in their previous game also.
