2% Take Atlanta (#977) (list Lopez)

The Atlanta Braves lost their series opener 2-1 in Seattle last night.  Following each of their previous seven losses, the Braves have bounced back with a victory in their next game; a team who’s longest losing streak of the season is one game – they’re 7-0 in this role.  It’s not hard to make a case for backing Reynaldo Lopez – he’s allowed a grand total of two runs on 14 hits in 25 dominant innings over four previous starts this season; worth ‘listing’ as you make your wager.  The Mariners aren’t hitting, producing four runs or less in six of their last seven games. I certainly have little hesitation fading Luis Castillo and his 0-3 record/5.40 ERA/.320 batting average against at home in 2024.  Take the Braves.
