Bailey Ober takes the mound tonight for the Twins and his stats on paper are slightly deceiving. Bailey did not make it out of the 2nd round in his first start this year while getting knocked around for 8 earned runs. Since then, he has settled into his form while only giving up 2 earned runs combined within his last 3 starts. Patrick Sandoval has not had the same luck as he gets the ball for the Angels. Patrick has fallen into a bit of bad luck so far in his previous starts as the analytics point to him pitching much better than the results have shown. Patrick is staying away from hard contact with a very low barrel percentage and an expected ERA that is 2 points lower than his results so far. 

Both lineups are not ones to fear in regard to putting up a lot of runs and the pitching matchup washes the edge that the Angels may have within their lineup. Since his first start of the season, Bailey Ober has been a tough pitcher to put up runs against and should be tough for this Angels lineup. The Twins have started the season really struggling to put up runs and are striking out a lot, which should really help Sandoval and his arsenal of pitches.
